I found that other settings the wheel would move side to side like a pendulum swinging. It made it hard to drive. I am not expecting using a wheel to be perfect but it should not be hard to drive at normal speeds. Also no other video recommended changing the Operating Range to 540 all others just either said nothing or said MAX it to 900.
FYI the Wheel Rotation Setting is basically hidden in FH5 on Xbox, simply by adjusting the OUTER DEADZONE for the steering axis you affect the Rotational setting. For my Thrustmaster TMX I’ve turned the outer deadzone down from 100 (900 degrees) to about 77 (which I think is closer to about 720 or so). You will even see the change represented on the hands/wheel in cockpit view where the I have a degree lock switch from 270-900 not a g29 but a cheaper model that gets the job done on Assetto Corsa which I have found to be responsive and 100% 1:1 with my wheel at 900 degrees. I tried forza up once again and no luck same issue where I have a massive dead zone and wheel goes straight to 90 degrees regardless of my wheel sensitivity. Hi, per my response, my Logitech G27 using CronusMax Drive Hub on Forza 7 and Horizon 2 is great, but on Horizon 4 i have to turn the wheel 90 degrees before car turns. Moved the rotation thing from 900 to 270, helped but still bad.
You’ll find a mode switch that’s located on the central part of the wheel. It displays two options: PS3 and PS4. The G29 is compatible with PlayStation consoles, but for the Logitech G29 PC setup, you need to switch it to the PS4 mode. Wheel Settings. The operating wheel range is going to be automatically set to 900 degrees. So far these settings have worked in every style of a race. From road racing to street scene, from dirt racing to cross country. Also drifting works just fine, it just has learning curve with 900 degrees. Let's start with Thrustmasters control panel; Everything default here. 900 degrees. This is what i've found to be best.
NOTE that xbox compatible TMX wheels have an internal mode selector that is independent of the game settings (when used on an xbox), you want to make sure that setting is reflecting full 900 degree rotation, you hold the mode button down and click the d-pad or shifters L or R to cycle through the 4 settings.
The Logitech G920 is a great wheel for most levels of Forza drivers. rotation between 270-900 degrees, 12-bit resolution optical reading for precision response, and a high-performance force
Yeah, the game is only made to accept so many discreet degrees of input. But you can adjust sensitivity to produce those degrees of input with more physical rotation of your wheel. Sensitivity is all the way at the bottom of the list in the advanced wheel profile settings. 1. r/ForzaHorizon.
Hi all, Sorry to open " a new post about wheel configs" XD I feed this FH4 demo better to be played with wheel (I use g29 on pc) than FH3, but want to explore those settings that allow you to drive confortable…
using thrustmaster t300, set 900 degree lock in its settings forever ago, works fine in fh5. Where did you set it? it was the control panel app that came with the wheel. Im not sure what Logitech´s app is called. Didnt touch any wheel related settings in the game, except setting some ffb scales a bit higher. #9. 2: steering deadzone set to lowest - 20% - is supposed to create a 180 degree wheel rotation. Math formula is as follows:- credit to: RampageRex37 - Every10% of linearity is equal to 90 degrees of sensitivity 100% - using this formula - it does - translate to 900 degree rotation. If you think 900 degrees is too much, you can reduce the maximum rotation angle on the wheel itself. I think mine is at 500 ish degrees for forza. DaaaaaaBears • 11 yr. ago. I recently stopped playing Forza after I got a CSR, and i felt if I ran with a high amount of lock, the front wheels just went and I only got understeer. iVgxa.
