207 1.6 HDi Won't Start. I managed to get the 207 back together this afternoon. I've recut the injector seats, replaced the copper washers, the black seals at the top and the white injector protector that sits right at the top of the cylinder. Re: citroen c8 starter motor removal Post by Gibbo2286 » Wed Oct 25, 2017 5:18 pm I can't see the fitting of a starter motor on a 2.0 Litre HDI engine varying much whichever model it's fitted in, just the access to it would be different, all three of my recent HDIs have been the same, three Allen head bolts through the gearbox bell housing.
I am in the process of replacing the starter motor on a 207 1.6 HDI thus far I have located two 6mm M8 allen bolts almost accessible from underneath, I think there are three, has anyone done this job and lived to tell the tale, any pointers?
